The Ecumenical Patriarch visited churches and monasteries in Ilia (PHOTOS)
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew visited the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary (Paleopanagia) in Manolada and Varda in Ilia, Greece, on Tuesday, 5 September 2023.
He then visited the Church of St. Demetrios in Lechaina, the Castle of Chlemoutsi, where he was guided by the archaeologists in charge, and the Monastery of Vlacherna in Kyllini.
