The Ecumenical Patriarch received a visit from the Leader of the Opposition in Australia
On Monday, 7th October, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, received at his place of abode in Sydney, the Leader of the Liberal Party and Leader of the Opposition in the Federal Parliament of Australia, The Hon. Peter Dutton MP.
The meeting, held in a cordial atmosphere, was also attended by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
During the meeting, topics of mutual interest were discussed with a particular focus on the Greek Orthodox presence, its needs, and its contributions to the country.
His All-Holiness warmly thanked Mr. Dutton for his visit and interest, and wished him all the best for the fulfillment of his duties for the benefit of Australian society.
