The Ecumenical Patriarch at service for the anniversary of the election of Pope Francis
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who was joined by the Grand Protosyncellus Archimandrite Theodoros, on Sunday afternoon, 12 March 2023, in response to a invitation, went to the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Harbiye, where he attended the Divine Liturgy celebrated for the 10th anniversary of the election of His Holiness Pope Francis of Rome.
The Divine Liturgy was also attended by His Grace Archbishop of Canterbury and Primate of the Anglican Communion, Justin Portal Welby, who is visiting Constantinople, a representative of the Armenian Patriarch in Turkey, as well as representatives of other Christian communities in Constantinople, members of the Diplomatic Corps, and a large number of Roman Catholic faithful.
