The convening of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate

On Tuesday, 22 October 2024, the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate conveyed with its new composition, as of 1 September. During the session, greetings were exchanged by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and His Eminence Metropolitan Makarios of Gortyna and Arcadia as the first of the new synodal attendants.

During the midday break of work, the Patriarch and the members of the Holy Synod received with cordiality and honour, the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Andriy Sybiha and his associates, after which they had a long and informative discussion.
