Sydney: Fundraising dinner in support of the Holy Monastery of Saint George, Yellow Rock on 28 May

With the Blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, on Sunday, 28 May 2023, a fundraising dinner in support of the Holy Monastery of Saint George, Yellow Rock will take place.

The Holy Monastery was founded in 1962 and is located in the Lower Blue Mountains of New South Wales. In the 60 years since its establishment, it has recorded great progress, although the fires of 2001 and 2013 unfortunately affected it to a great extent.

Major current and future plans for the Monastery include further protecting the site from possible future fires and building a large, new Katholikon /central church.

All proceeds from the dinner will be allocated to the current and future projects of the Holy Monastery.

The event will be held on Sunday 28th May at 5:00pm at the Parish – Community Hall of St Ioannis, Parramatta, Sydney (163 George St, Parramatta NSW).
