Regular Session of Holy Synod of Church of Greece concluded yesterday

The Holy Synod of the Hierarchy of the Church of Greece, chaired by His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece, met yesterday, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at its third regular session, in the Conference Room of the Holy Synod.

Following the prayer, the list of the participating Hierarchs was read and a quorum was declared.

Subsequently, the minutes of yesterday’s Session were ratified.

Also, His Eminence Metropolitan Ieronymos of Larissa and Tyrnavos read a proposal on the subject: “Amendment of Regulations 8/1979 and 305/2018”. A discussion on the proposal followed and then it was approved.

Finally, the dates for the ordinations of the elected Metropolitans and Auxiliary Bishops were announced.
