Priestly Synaxis of the Clergy of the newly established Diocese of Brisbane

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Brisbane conducted a Priestly Synaxis of the Clergy of the newly established Diocese of Brisbane.

The synaxis commenced with prayer and the reading of the official message of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia by His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Brisbane.

Administrative, pastoral, liturgical and theological matters were discussed and planned for the commencement of the new year, 2025.

On behalf of our Archbishop, His Grace thanked both the clergy and laity for their attendance at the recent celebrations lead by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Sydney.

Furthermore, Bishop Bartholomew and the Priests of Queensland, thanked His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia for his esteemed leadership, for the dedication to our local church and the planning and organising of the recent Apostolic Visit of our beloved Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
