Pre-sanctified Divine Liturgy at St Catherine’s Church in Mascot, Sydney

With the Blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea officiated at the Hierarchical Pre-sanctified Divine Liturgy at the Parish of St Catherine’s in Mascot on the 30th of March which marked the Wednesday of the Fourth Week of Great and Holy Lent. 

At the end of the service, His Grace thanked His Eminence for granting the blessing and permission to serve as well as parish priest, Fr Stavros Ivanos, for the invitation to visit the Church of St Catherine. In addition, His Grace Bishop Elpidios thanked everyone for attending the service and wished all a good remainder of Holy and Great Lent. 

His Grace is currently in Sydney for the Episcopal Assembly of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia, in which the 13th meeting of Bishops took place on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th March, under the Chairmanship of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
