Perth: 515 toys donated to Perth Children’s Hospital

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, the Parish of Sts Constantine and Helene in Perth WA, conducted its 2023 Annual Christmas Toy Drive for the Perth Children’s Hospital.

This year, thanks to the immense generosity and love of the congregation, 515 toys were collected and donated.

On Wednesday the 6 December 2023, the Feast Day of St Nicholas the Wonderworker, the Parish Priest of Sts Constantine and Helene, Father Terry Gerovasilis, along with members from the Church Committee personally delivered the toys to the hospital volunteer staff which is led by Mr Andy Wahid. The toys were received with great joy and emotion. Andy thanked Father Terry and the Parish from the bottom of his heart for their immense generosity.

These toys will be wrapped and distributed to all children and young people who are 15 years of age or under at the Perth Children’s Hospital on Christmas morning when all of Christianity will be celebrating the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
