Patriarchal Trisagion at the grave of the late Metropolitan Theoklitos of Ioannina
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, on Thursday, July 14, 2022, the last day of his official visit to the Metropolis of Ioannina, he went to the Holy Church of St. Nicholas of Kopana, where, at the grave of the late Metropolitan Theoklitos of Ioannina, he celebrated a Trisagion for the repose of his soul, surrounded by his successor Metropolitan Maximos, members of the Patriarchal Escort, and clergy of the Metropolis.
Earlier, the Ecumenical Patriarch made a pilgrimage to the venerable house of St. George of Ioannina, and later he went to the Oxya region of Monodendri, where he admired the Vikos Gorge with its unique natural beauty.
