Patriarchal Divine Liturgy to take place at Panagia of Pera for the Feast of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple

Feast Day of the Cathedral of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple

It is gladly announced that on Thursday, 21 November, on the occasion of the Feast of the Entrance of Our All-Holy Lady the Theotokos into the Temple, the feast day of our Holy Cathedral of the Holy Archdiocese of Constantinople, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, piously accepting the invitation of the local Ecclesiastical Committee, will graciously attend with his distinguished entourage and preside over the feast day Divine Liturgy, and concelebrate the feast with the reverend Hierarchy.

During this Divine Liturgy, His All-Holiness will conduct the ordination to the priesthood of the Patriarchal Deacon Father Ieronymos.

The Panegyric of the Feast Day will be preached by His Eminence Metropolitan Platon of Lagadas, Liti and Rentini.

Following the Feast Day Divine Liturgy, a celebratory reception will take place in the Community Hall.

On the eve of the Feast Day, 20 November, at 5:00pm, the Great Vespers will take place with the blessing of the five loaves (Artoklasia), and will be officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan Andreas of Forty Churches.
