On the occasion of the 100th year anniversary of the establishment of the Holy Metropolis of the Princes’ Islands (1924), on Sunday 14 July 2024, at the Metropolitan Church of Saint Dimitrios on Prinkipo Island, a Patriarchal Divine Liturgy took place and was presided over by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who was joined in concelebration by Hierarchs of the Ecumenical Throne and the Church of Greece.

Local authorities, Archons of the Great Church of Christ and hundreds of faithful believers from Constantinople and abroad were present for the Divine Liturgy. Following the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy a festive meal followed.
