Patriarchal concelebration at the Sacred Golgotha by Patriarch of Jerusalem and Patriarch of Serbia

A Patriarchal concelebration took place yesterday, during the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts, which was presided over by His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem, and His Beatitude Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia.

Also present at the Divine Liturgy was His Eminence Metropolitan Isaiah of Tamasos, who was in Jerusalem. His Beatitude Patriarch Porfirije has been on an official pilgrimage visit to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem since Monday, 31 March 2025.

The Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church arrived at Ben Gurion Airport on Monday afternoon, where he was greeted by His Eminence Metropolitan Hesychius of Capitolia, together with Archimandrite Fr. Christodoulos, Abbot of the Holy Cross Monastery.

Later in the afternoon, he visited the Patriarch of Jerusalem, and the two Patriarchs exchanged gifts (engolpia). This was followed by a meal in honour of the Patriarch of Serbia.
