Parliamentary elections in Greece – Electoral process in New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory
Greek citizens, residents of New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory, having successfully completed their registration through the platform of the Ministry of the Interior apodimoi.gov.gr, are invited to vote for the parliamentary elections on Saturday, May 20th, 2023.
The electoral process will be held at the premises of the Consulate General of Greece in Sydney (Level 2, 219-223 Castlereagh Street, Sydney NSW 2000) from 07.00 to 19.00.
Voters should have with them a Greek Police Identity Card or a Greek Passport.
In addition, in accordance with the provisions of article 8 par.3 of Law 4648/2019 at the premises of the Consulate General of Greece in Sydney, a public draw will be held to select the members of the electoral committee and their deputies, among the registered voters in the special electoral roll of New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory. The members of the electoral committee will be notified via email of their nomination.

According to No. 39414/5.5.2023 (ΑΔΑ: ΨΔ1Ν46ΜΤΛ6-7ΛΝ) Joint Decision of the Ministers of Interior and Foreign Affairs on the subject: “Determining deadlines for the appointment of electoral committee members of the electoral divisions in the parliamentary elections of May 20 that will be held outside the Greek Territory”, article 5, tomorrow, Wednesday, May 10 at 12.00, at the premises of the Consulate General of Greece in Sydney (Level 2, 219-223 Castlereagh Street, Sydney NSW 2000) the public draw of the members of the electoral committee and their substitutes will be held in view of the electoral process for the national elections that will be held for residents abroad on Saturday May 20, 2023.
Election committee members and their substitutes will be notified by email of their appointment.
