Northcote: Holy Vigil held in memory of Saint John the Merciful
With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, at the Archdiocesan District of Northcote, Victoria, the memory of Saint John the Merciful was celebrated, with the conducting of a Holy Vigil, on Friday, 11 November 2022, at the Holy Church of Saint Paraskevi, where his Holy Relics are kept.
His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta officiated at and presided over the Holy Vigil, joined by many priest of the Archdiocesan District of Northcote.
Mr. Vaios Anastasopoulos, who is the General Director of the School of Byzantine Music of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia, chanted together with students of the School.
His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta conveyed to everyone the wishes and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, in view of the Christmas fast that will start shortly.
