Northcote: Evening Christmas Divine Liturgy at the Holy Church of the Transfiguration of our Lord, Thomastown
The Feast of Christmas was celebrated with pious devotion at the Holy Church of the Transfiguration of our Lord, in Thomastown, Melbourne, during the Evening Divine Liturgy which took place on the eve of the Feast Day, presided over by His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Northcote.
With the Blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, this was the third time that Christmas Feast Divine Liturgy took place during the evening in the Archdiocesan District of Northcote. In fact, the response of the Christian-loving people was great and moving, especially the youth.
His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta conveyed to the faithful congregation the prayers and wishes of their Shepherd, while, instead of a homily, the Message of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia for the ‘Metropolis of Feasts’ was read.
