Metropolitan of Kilkis visited Ecumenical Patriarchate

His Eminence Metropolitan Bartholomew of Poliana and Kilkis paid a visit to the headquarters of the Ecumenical Patriarchate on Monday, 20 November 2023, along with Mr. Dimitris Kyriakides, Mayor of Kilkis, and their associates, who were warmly received by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

The Metropolitan and the Mayor, conveying the wishes of the pious people of Kilkis and their respect for the Mother Church of Constantinople, extended an invitation to the Ecumenical Patriarch to visit their city in September to preside over the celebrations for the centenary of the founding of the Holy Metropolis of Poliana and Kilkis.

The Ecumenical Patriarch thanked Metropolitan Bartholomew and Mayor Kyriakides for their kind invitation, which he accepted, and asked the Shepherd of this historic Metropolis to convey to his flock the Patriarchal blessing and his paternal wishes.
