Metropolitan John of Zambia and Greek community meets Greek Olympic medal winners

On Tuesday, 18 of June 2024, in the Episcopal Residence in Lusaka, and in the presence of His Eminence Metropolitan John of Zambia, the Greek community and many other local people had the opportunity to meet and get to know the Greek Olympic Team medal winners.

Since 13 June, the Greek National delegation headed by our Olympic Gold Medalist Athanasia Tsumeleka, have been in Zambia where they participated in the works of the Parliament for the opening of the special events by the president of the Parliament, Mrs. Nelly Mutti, having achieved remarkable success in the media and contributed to promote the spirit of Greece and the timeless Olympic values as since ancient times, the Olympic Games have always been a symbol of peace and hope.
