Metropolitan Iakovos of Mexico officiates at the Patriarchal Church at the Phanar

On Sunday, 25 August 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew was present joined in prayer during the Divine Liturgy, which was officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan Iakovos of Mexico. The Divine Liturgy was conducted by Archimandrite Georgios Christodoulou, Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Church of Cyprus.

After the Dismissal, His All-Holiness, in his short address, welcomed all the pilgrims to the Seat of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, especially the large groups from the Parishes of the Holy Archdiocese of Cyprus, wishing that Our Lady would protect them and their families.

His All-Holiness then distributed the antidoron and holy souvenirs to the whole congregation.
