Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Patra visited the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America

On Thursday, 27 March 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Patras from the Church of Greece visited His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America at the Archdiocese headquarters in New York, New York.

Archbishop Elpidophoros announced that, starting this year, a representative of the Church of Greece will be included among the honourees of the Greek Independence Day Parade, emphasising the Church’s pivotal role in the struggle for Independence. Metropolitan Chrysostomos was honoured as the first of such representatives.
