Melbourne: The Feast of the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour 2022
On Great and Holy Saturday, April 23, 2022, in the evening, at the Archdiocesan Church of Saint Eustathios in South Melbourne, The Archiepiscopal Vicar of the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, officiated at the Orthros, and His Eminence Metropolitan Ezekiel of Dervis presided over the Divine Liturgy of the Resurrection.
At midnight the Resurrection Service took place in the presence of the Evzones, Presidential Guards of the Hellenic Republic. The Holy Service of Orthros and the Resurrectional Divine Liturgy, at the end of which His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis distributed red eggs to the faithful.
His Grace Bishop Kyriakos conveyed to all the faithful the venerable prayers and wishes of our Shepherd Archbishop Makarios of Australia, and wished to all “the greeting of “peace be with you all” to reach as far as the ends of the Earth “.
