Melbourne: Foundational meeting for the ‘Five Loaves’ outreach program.
On Tuesday, 24 May 2022 with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis hosted a foundational meeting for the ‘Five Loaves’ outreach program.
The team of professionals, whom His Grace invited, brings a diverse range of experience in law, human resources, hospitality, marketing, administration, communications, logistics, public service, health, social work and outreach.
Together with the Bishop, the attendees discussed strategy, communications, logistics and legal structure as these are critical to the professional foundation of the ‘Five Loaves’ program.
His Grace emphasised that the ‘Five Loaves’ program is a vehicle to assist us in augmenting our human compassion and our responsibility to the service of others especially those less fortunate.
“Through this spirit we are reminded of the words of Saint John Chrysostom, about the importance of serving the second liturgy; that is serving those in need.
