Melbourne: Festive Vespers at the Holy Church of Saint Athanasios, Springvale
On Tuesday, 17 January 2023, with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, The Great Vespers on the occasion of the feast of Saint Athanasios the Great, at the Holy Church of Saint Athanasios in the suburb of Springvale, Melbourne, took place.
The Vespers Service was attended by Father Eustathios Ladas, Father Stavros Kakavas and Father Emmanuel Lykopandis, with the presence of many blessed faithful parishioners.
The Parish Priest, Fr. Efstathios, delivered the sermon and conveyed the blessings and paternal love of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, as well as the wishes of His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Melbourne, who is in Sydney ahead of the celebration of the Archbishop’s Name Day on Thursday, 19 January 2023.
