Melbourne: Feast Day of Saint Makarios the Great and celebration of the Patronal Feast Day of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia at the Church of Saint Eustathios
On Thursday, 19 January 2023, at the Holy Church of Saint Eustathios in Melbourne, the memory of Saint Makarios the Great of Egypt was celebrated, in which Metropolitan Ezekiel of Dervis presided over the Divine Liturgy, joined also by clergy from the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne.
Metropolitan Ezekiel of Dervis and the clergy and faithful who were present for the Divine Liturgy, joined their prayers for His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, who celebrated his Patronal Feast Day, asking in their prayers for God to asking God to grant him many years, both blessed and fruitful, for the benefit of the local Church and his Greek Orthodox flock.
