Meeting of religious leaders in Jordan on Gaza issue – Patriarch of Jerusalem was present

During a meeting of certain religious leaders in Jordan, this week, King Abdullah II reiterated the firm and clear position of the Kingdom of Jordan on the Palestinian issue and the aggression in Gaza.

King Abdullah II said he would not back down from their stance and would do everything possible to achieve their goals.

During his meeting with religious leaders, including Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem, at the Husseiniyah Palace, on Wednesday, 20 December 2023, the king stressed the need to “stand united” in defending the Muslim and Christian populations in Jerusalem.
