Madagascar: Thanks offered to the Holy Archdiocese of Australia for the construction of a new Primary, Middle and High School
The Holy Diocese of Toliara and Southern Madagascar, with its announcement, expresses its immense gratitude and extends its warmest thanks to the Holy Archdiocese of Australia and His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia for their generous donation, which made it possible to build a new Primary, Middle and High School in the Diocese.
“This donation”, the announcement emphasises, “is not only a material project, but is an act of love and contribution to the children and families of our region, giving them the opportunity for a comprehensive education. This school will become a beacon of knowledge, spiritual cultivation and development, offering our children the resources to build their future with values and hope”.
In an atmosphere of special joy, the Consecration Service (Agiasmos) for the new school year in the new school facility was performed by His Grace Bishop Prodromos of Toliara and Southern Madagascar, in the presence of the teachers and students, who welcomed with prayer and blessing the beginning of this new academic journey. After the Consecration Service, school bags, notebooks and pencils were distributed to the children, reinforcing their efforts and offering them the necessary tools for learning.
“The contribution of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia and His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia is invaluable, and their beneficence will remain etched in our hearts forever. We hope that God will bless them and strengthen them in their valuable work, so that they may continue to offer support and light to people and communities in need,” the announcement concludes.
