Investiture of Grand Archimandrite Iakovos at the Phanar

On the 14th Sunday of Luke, 1 December 2024, at the venerable Patriarchal Church of Saint George at the Phanar, towards the end of the Divine Liturgy, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew elevated Father Iakovos Krochak to the office of Grand Archimandrite of the Holy and Great Church of Christ

The Divine Liturgy was officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan Vasileios of Constantia and Ammochostos, hierarch of the Church of Cyprus.

The Ecumenical Patriarch was present joined in prayer from the Holy Altar, as did hierarchs of the Throne, members of the Holy and Sacred Synod, who also met at the Phanar after the Divine Liturgy.
