Holy Unction Service at the Church of Sts Constantine and Helene

On Wednesday evening, 21 December 2022, His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea conducted the Sacrament of Holy Unction at the Church of Sts Constantine and Helene in Perth.

At the conclusion of the service His Grace reminded the faithful that the Holy Unction service is one of the seven official Sacraments of the Church which prepares us for the forthcoming feast of the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In addition, His Grace Bishop Elpidios mentioned how the purpose of the Holy Unction service is for us to ask Christ to heal us not only physically but also spiritually as everyone’s soul needs healing.
