Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate concluded yesterday– Key topics were discussed

The proceedings of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate concluded yesterday, Thursday, 10 April 2025, under the presidency of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

Throughout the session, the Synod carefully examined all matters included on the official agenda and adopted the appropriate decisions, in accordance with the canonical order of the Church.

The meeting concluded with the exchange of festal greetings between the Ecumenical Patriarch and Metropolitan Makarios of Gortyna and Arcadia. The Metropolitan conveyed the warm wishes of all Synodal members on the occasion of the approaching Holy and Great Week and the Feast of the Resurrection, praying for a spiritually fruitful Paschal pilgrimage.
