HNDGS: Humanitarian aid mission to Gaza

The transfer of humanitarian aid from the Greek armed forces to Amman to be forwarded to Gaza under the care of the Jordanian authorities was completed on Friday, 17 January 2025.

According to a statement by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, the Greek Armed Forces, following cooperation and coordination with the relevant government agencies, collected all the aid to be sent and assisted in its transportation by means of the Air Force. 

Specifically, an Air Force C-130 aircraft carried a cargo weighing a total of 6 tonnes, which included medical supplies as well as clothing, cleaning, and personal hygiene items.
