His Grace Bishop Emilianos of Meloa at the church of the Holy Trinity in Hobart, Tasmania
With the Blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, on Sunday, 2 April 2023, His Grace Bishop Emilianos of Meloa, the Archiepiscopal Vicar of Queensland visited Hobart Tasmania and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the church of Holy Trinity.
Assisting His Grace were both Priests of Tasmania, Father Irinaios Kiokas from the church of Holy Trinity, Hobart, and Father Dimitrios Katsis from the church of Saint George, Hobart.
At the conclusion of the service, His Grace Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis welcomed His Grace Bishop Emilianos on behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios to Tasmania and thanked him for making the effort to visit Hobart. Moreover His Grace Bishop Bartholomew encouraged the faithful to attend the evening Vespers service followed by the talk and stated that we owe gratitude to our Archbishop for the blessing to have a visiting Hierarch of Australia to visit Tasmania.
In reply His Grace Bishop Emilianos thanked from the outset, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia for allowing him to visit Tasmania and conduct the Sacrament of Confession to the faithful, serve the Holy Liturgy and offer a spiritual talk.
Moreover, His Grace Bishop Emilianos thanked His Grace Bishop Bartholomew for the kind invitation.
In conclusion, Bishop Emilianos conveyed the love and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios and on his behalf wished the people of Hobart a blessed feast of Pascha.
