Greece and Australia discuss strengthening economic ties

The prospects for strengthening economic relations between Greece and Australia were discussed by Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA) President Ioannis Bratakos, and Australian Ambassador to Greece, Ms. Alison Duncan.

According to an EBEA statement, Duncan highlighted the potential for financing major investment projects in Greece through a $3.5 billion pension fund, which could support high-growth sectors such as renewable energy and tourism.
