Former Greek Royal Family Members visit Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens

Former Queen of Greece, Anna-Maria, alongside her daughter, Theodora, and her future son-in-law, Matthew Kumar, paid a visit to His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece at the Holy Archdiocese of Athens on 25 September 2024.

The couple sought the Archbishop’s blessing ahead of their upcoming wedding, set to take place on Saturday at the Holy Metropolitan Church of Athens. Due to the Archbishop’s scheduled visit to the Holy Metropolis of Philippi, Neapolis, and Thassos, he will be unable to attend the ceremony personally.

The Archbishop extended his heartfelt wishes to the couple for their future together. His Eminence Metropolitan Dorotheos of Syros will be officiating the wedding ceremony in the Archbishop’s place.
