Feast day of St. Germanos commemorated at dedicated chapel of Halki School of Theology
The feast day of St. Germanos the Confessor, Patriarch of Constantinople, was commemorated during a Matins and Divine Liturgy in a dedicated chapel at the Halki School of Theology, located on the eponymous Marmara Sea island.
The services were officiated by His Grace, the Ecumenical Patriarchate’s Bishop Kassianos.
After the Divine Liturgy, a memorial service was read by Bishop and Abbot Kassianos for the repose of the soul of Patriarch Germanos IV, the founder of the Halki Seminary.
