Feast Day of Saint Phocas in Constantinople
On Friday morning, 22 September 2023, on the occasion of the feast of Saint Phocas the Hieromartyr, His Eminence, Patriarchal Commissioner, Metropolitan Maximos of Selyvria, officiated at the Church of Saint Phocas, in Mesachorion on the Bosporus.
The Vicar General of the Bosporus District, His Eminence Metropolitan Athenagoras of Kydonia, addressed His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos, who in turn addressed Metropolitan Athenagoras appropriately. Many faithful from Constantinople and from oversees were also present for the feast day celebrations.
