Feast day of Saint Dionysios of Zakynthos at Central Mangrove, NSW
On Sunday, 28 August 2022, the festive celebrations for the feast of the transfer of the Holy Relics of Saint Dionysios of Zakynthos were culminated with a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the celebrating Church of Saint Dionysios in Central Mangrove of New South Wales.
The Divine Liturgy was presided over by His Grace Bishop Iakovos of Miletoupolis, accompanied by the Proistamenos of the Holy Parish, Father Nicholas Carmona and Deacon Fr. Meliton Haridemos. At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy a litany of the Holy Icon of Saint Dionysios took place around the church building.
After the Divine Liturgy, a traditional festival was held, with the participation of the members of the Parish and faithful from Sydney who visited the Parish of Central Mangrove to celebrate along with them.
