Evening Christmas Divine Liturgy in the Holy Diocese of Chora

The Great Feast of the Nativity of Christ was celebrated with devotion and spiritual joy at the Holy Archdiocesan Church of Our Lady ‘Axion Esti’, in the Holy Diocese of Chora, where a Evening Divine Liturgy was celebrated on Christmas Eve.

The Divine Liturgy was presided over by His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Chora, who read the Christmas message of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.

The evening’s hymns were performed by a choir of teachers from the Byzantine Music School of the Holy Archdiocese, lending a tone of spirituality and tradition to the atmosphere of worship.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the children who attended the feast day received Christmas gifts from Fr. Philip Papagiannopoulos, with great joy and enthusiasm.
