Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to preside at Panagia Soumela of Pontus on the feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will preside over the feast day celebrations of the Dormition of the Theotokos at the Historical Holy Monastery of Panagia Soumela in Pontus, on the 15th of August, 2023.
On the eve of the feast, Monday 14 August 2023, the Great Vespers of the feast will be celebrated in the Roman Catholic Church of Panagia in Trebizond, which was kindly granted to the Orthodox for this purpose.
