Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew sent congratulations to Moldovan President on re-election
On 7 November 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew sent a heartfelt congratulatory letter to Maia Sandu on her re-election as the President of Moldova.
“The Moldovan people’s renewed trust in your vision, dedication, and commitment to the prosperity and progress of your nation fills us with joy,” the Ecumenical Patriarch wrote in his letter, extending prayers for Almighty God’s blessings upon the President, her government, and all Moldovan citizens.
“The Ecumenical Patriarchate stands in solidarity with you, firmly committed to supporting initiatives that uphold human dignity and values that serve the common good,” he emphasised, concluding with a prayer for the Lord to bless Her Excellency’s efforts and the Moldovan people with a future filled with promise, unity, and peace.
