Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew officiates at Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts

On Thursday, 3 April 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew officiated at the Divine Liturgy on the Presanctified Gifts which took place at the Patriarchal Church of Saint George, Phanar.

Prince Nicholas, the members of the Board of Directors of the Non-Profit Organisation “Axion Hellas”, lead by its President Mrs. Aliki Drakouli, as well as other believers attended the Divine Liturgy.

Immediately afterwards, His All-Holiness received the members of the Board of Directors of “Axion Hellas” and in his greeting he congratulated all the participants in the Organisation’s charitable actions and for their contribution to the residents of the border regions of Greece. He pointed out, among other things, the importance of solidarity with fellow human beings and underlined the timeless interest of the Mother Church in this direction, referring to its social contribution.

Mr. De Grèce thanked the Ecumenical Patriarch for the warm welcome, as did the President of the Board of Directors of the Organisation, who briefly presented its charitable initiatives and actions.
