Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew honoured Metropolitan Stephanos of Kallioupolis on name day

On 27 December 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew visited His Eminence Metropolitan Stephanos of Kallioupolis at the Church of St. Demetrios in Tatavla. He also visited the Metropolitan’s office, where he serves as Supervisor of the Tatavla District, in honour of his name day.

The Ecumenical Patriarch was warmly received at the church by His Eminence, accompanied by the clergy and members of the Church Committee of the Community, under the leadership of its President, Mr. Georgios Theodoridis. Those present paid their respects and sought his Patriarchal blessing and paternal wishes for the joyous celebration of the Holy Twelve Days of Christmas, as well as guidance and support in fulfilling their ecclesiastical duties.

The Patriarch extended his heartfelt wishes to Metropolitan Stephanos of Kallioupolis for good health and the continued success of his esteemed ministry. He further commended both the Metropolitan and the Ecclesiastical Committee for their invaluable contributions and the remarkable work they are accomplishing.
