Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew condemns terrorist attack in Ankara
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew has unequivocally condemned the recent terrorist attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facilities in Ankara, stating that “every terrorist act is, in reality, an assault on social peace and a tragic absurdity.”
The Ecumenical Patriarch offered prayers for Almighty God to grant rest to the souls of the innocent victims and to strengthen their grieving families. He extended his deepest condolences and the support of both himself and the Ecumenical Patriarchate to those affected. Additionally, he expressed his heartfelt wishes for a swift recovery of health to those injured.
