Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew attends the Antalya Diplomacy Forum

At the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mr. Hakan Fidan, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, accompanied by Patriarchal Deacon Fr Barnabas, flew to Antalya on Friday, 11 April 2025, to attend the official opening of the 4th Diplomacy Forum, in which many heads of state and government, Ministers, diplomats and other personalities from various countries of the world participate.
The Forum is taking place at the NEST Conference Centre in Belek, Antalya, with the theme “Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World”. The opening remarks were made by the President of the Turkish Republic, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The proceedings will last for three days, April 11-13.
The Patriarch, who was invited, had attended the official opening session of the 3rd Forum last year at the same venue and had the opportunity to communicate with many high-ranking personalities among the participants.
His All-Holiness returned to the city of Constantinople on the evening of the same day.
