Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the Holy Church of the 12 Apostles in Hertfordshire, UK
On Monday, 24 October 2022, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who is visiting the Holy Archdiocese of Thyateia and Great Britain for the celebrations of the 100 years since it’s founding, made a visit to the Holy Church of the Twelve Apostles in Hertfordshire, where a Small Agiasmos Blessing Service was conducted to bless the expansion projects of the Community.
His All-Holiness was warmly welcomes by the Proistamenos of the Holy Church, Protopresbyter Very Rev. Father Joseph Paliouras and the President of the Parish Council, Mr. Louis Loizou.
After the Small Agiasmos service and welcome a festive meal was prepared and offered by the community.
On the same day, the Holy Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain organised a breakfast of Leaders of Christian Denominations in honour of the Ecumenical Patriarch, while His All-Holiness also had the opportunity to meet with Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, UK Minister of State for the Middle East, South Asia and the United Nations
