Delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate at the Thronal Feast of the Church of Rome
At this year’s Thronal Feast of the Church of Rome, in memory of the Leaders of the Apostles Peter and Paul, the Ecumenical Patriarchate was represented by His Eminence Metropolitan Job of Pisidia, Co-Chairman of the Commission for Theological Dialogue between Orthodox and Roman Catholics, while the Patriarchal Delegation also included His Grace Bishop Athenagoras Nazianzos.
On Thursday, 29 June, in the morning, at the Divine Liturgy celebrated in the Basilica of St. Peter in Rome, in the presence of Pope Francis, the Delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, according to tradition, joined in prayer.
