Covid-19: 107 recorded deaths, from delayed reports, announced in Victoria
Victoria’s health authorities have announced an increased number of Covid-19 patient deaths due to data flow issues during the current month. Specifically, 107 new deaths, of which 105 relate to late reports from July 1 to today, and only two deaths relate to the previous twenty-four hours.
It also pointed out that the average daily number of deaths of patients with Covid-19 in Victoria in the last fortnight is 19.
It should also be mentioned that the total hospitalisations in the State of Victoria are 813, with 32 patients in the Intensive Care Unit and 10 being intubated.
The number of positive Covid-19 cases in the last twenty-four hours amounts to 10,898.
In New South Wales, the number of recorded deaths of the pandemic are 22.
A total of 2,257 patients are treated in State hospitals, of which 67 are in Intensive Care.
The new cases are 14,927.
Finally, in Queensland it was announced that 17 patients lost their lives in the last twenty-four hours, with the total hospitalisations amounting to 906 and 30 patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
The new positive Covid-19 cases for Queensland amount to 9,420.
