Continuing the International Ecological Conference: Day Two at the Theological School of Halki

On Saturday, 31 August 2024, the Theological School of Halki hosted the International Ecological Conference titled “Water: Spirit and Science” at the Great Synodikon. The event was organised and scientifically overseen by Archdeacon John Chryssavgis of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, in collaboration with numerous professors and researchers, including Mr. Ioannis Kalavrouziotis, President of the Hellenic Open University.

The conference commenced with a warm welcome from the Abbot, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, and His Eminence Metropolitan Andreas of Forty Churches, who was present at the School for the feast of Panagia Pafsolypi.

The conference featured a series of sessions with speakers addressing various aspects of the theme. The conclusions and final reflections were presented by Father John Chryssavgis.
