Condolences on the passing away of HM Queen Elizabeth II from the Holy Archdiocese of Australia
On behalf of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia and representing His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, on Friday, September 16, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis and His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta, Archiepiscopal Vicars of the Archdiocesan Districts of Melbourne and Northcote respectively, visited Government House in Victoria, Australia, and signed the book of condolences on the occasion of the passing away of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Their Graces were welcomed to Government House by Mr. Anthony Howard, husband of the Governor of Victoria, Mrs. Linda Dessau.
More over, the Chancellor of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia, Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Throne, Very Rev. Father Christophoros Krikelos, also signed Queen Elizabeth’s book of condolence, which has been made available at Government House in Sydney, New South Wales.
