Condolences by Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos over death of Palestinian journalist Abu Aqla

The Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Theophilos III, along with the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, this week conveyed its deepest condolences over the death of Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Aqla.

The veteran field correspondent was shot while covering the latest spate of violence in the West Bank.

Her employer, Qatar-based Al Jazeera claimed that Abu Aqla was killed by Israeli troops, however, Israel said she may have been shot by Palestinian gunmen.
