Commemoration of the miracle of Saint Spyridon at the Holy Patriarchal Skete of Halki
On Saturday, 13 July 2024, the Holy Patriarchal Skete of Saint Spyridon of Halki celebrated the commemoration of the Saint’s miracle of healing the blind man. The festivities included the celebration of the festive Matins and the Divine Liturgy, presided over by the Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, who also blessed the artoklasia (blessing of the five loaves) in honour of the Saint.
The celebration was attended by numerous faithful from the Princes’ Islands and Constantinople.
In the evening, the Great Vespers of the feast was also celebrated, with Bishop Kassianos once again presiding over the service.
